Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation

In 2019, Sunny Mitchell founded the Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation utilizing the performing arts as a vehicle for education, with direct emphasis on the unique tapestry of our American heritage..

Folsom Americana Fest

In 2021, Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation, under the direction of Sunny Mitchell, launched the inaugural Folsom Americana Fest showcases special guests from around the United States and regional musicians from genres included roots country, bluegrass, rockabilly, and folk. The proceeds benefit foundation programming that offers high caliber workshops, concerts and educational events to our community.  Folsom AmFest returns in 2026 for its third season.

Since its inception in 2006, SMMP (Formerly E:Motion Dance Ensemble) has sought to produce fresh, collaborative, and engaging performances, utilizing theatre, song, and dance.  SMMP's storytelling works engage and transport the audience through these multi-dimensional mediums.​
